I have always had a strong interest in natural health and Eastern philosophies.  From a young age metaphysical philosophies have always captured my interest.  I started studying the Tarot and Kabalistic philosophies as a young teenager and expanded into areas such as astrology, palmistry and many others.

I graduated with honours in 2001 from Victoria University completing a Bachelor of Health Science degree specialising in Traditional Chinese Medicine: Acupuncture & Moxibustion.  During the final year of my formal studies I completed a clinical internship in China with the ShenYang Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine and the Dalian Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine.  This included a focus on treating children (pediatrics), stroke and musculo-skeletal problems.

Throughout my studies and acupuncture career I have participated in numerous voluntary placements throughout the community including drug rehabilitation facilities and various community outreach programs.

Following on from my studies in Traditional Chinese Medicine I completed a Diploma of Education and spent over ten years working as a Primary School teacher as well as practicing Acupuncture.  Working with children as a primary school teacher has fostered a caring and gentle approach whilst interacting with and treating children of all ages.

Metaphysical studies are a life-long practice of thought, contemplation and development.  This has resulted in completing many courses and joining a range of groups, orders and organisations.  One of the many focuses I enjoyed was completing the three levels of Esoteric Acupuncture and becoming a Reiki Master in the Usui, Tibetan and Seichim Reiki Traditions.

I am nationally registered Acupuncturist with AHPRA and a member of the Australian Traditional Medicine Society.
